Ruby-red glass was Reijmyre’s signature feature from the 1940s to the 1960s. With its own recipe for frit, and new techniques, the works created its own style. The artist Monica Bratt, who worked there for more than twenty years, particularly influenced its output. Her designs were based on the drop shape. Colour should highlight form. Decoration was sparing. She also used saturated green and blue nuances.
