Landscape painter Carl Johan Fahlcrantz created several views from Haga – here the park by Lake Brunnsviken seen from the hill at Tivoli. The artist has conscientiously included several buildings such as Haga Palace, the King’s Pavilion, the Temple of Amor, the Echo Temple and the tower of the outbuilding. However, Fahlcrantz wanted to capture a romantic atmosphere rather than the topography. He solved this with thin glazes of varnish.
