BiographyAfter studies in Sweden and Italy were Anders Roslin active in Paris from 1752 and was elected the same year the French Academy. His portraiture is a highlight of the rococo image creation. As an interpreter of the lifestyle and aesthetic ideals of the 1700s royal and aristocratic Roslin occupies a special position.
